Review: Belle Project

The Belle Project is something I’ve wanted to catch for a few months now. For those of you who don’t know, the Belle Project is something that started roughly 2 years ago and has been a showcase of local talent. In the Bismarck/Mandan area, there is next to nothing for young talent to perform visual and musical talents, and the Belle Project was developed to fill that need.

I went to this particular show as I’ve been hearing quite a buzz about one last minute addition, “Kendra and Krista” a young duo from Hazen, ND who performs a few covers of country songs, but more importantly, originals.

Upcoming: Blizzard Tour to Heat Fargo

March 3rd, Jade Presents will be bringing one of the hottest tours around to the snow covered city of Fargo via the Scheels Arena. The Blizzard Music Tour will feature 2 time Grammy winner Nelly, 3OH!3, Sick Puppies, and more. With a healthy mix of Rock and Hip Hop, there should be something for everyone.

Review: Carrie Underwood

Rocking the Bismarck Civic Center last Friday was American Idol winner Carrie Underwood. This would mark her first trip to the North Dakota capital city and the people in attendance made sure she had a good time in their backyard.

At first glance it was apparent that the show was designed to be an ever changing experience. Before the show Carrie had a meet n greet with a few lucky fans and signed autographs and allowed pictures to be taken. (more…)

Rock N Rev

Well everyone, Rock N Rev came, and unquestionably conquered this year’s Sturgis Rally. Pulling in great attendance numbers each night, leading up to the 20,000+ that showed up for rock n roll history as Guns N Roses took the stage for the first time in 4 years on US soil.

It’s hard to imagine that at one time RnR’s future seemed hazy when Glencoe dropped talks, but they quickly rebounded and not only came back, but came back bigger and better than planned. (more…)

I’m in SPIN!

So in a huge leap in my career I’ve been featured on the homepage of SPIN.com. It’s a great honor and I’m very proud of this accomplishment, hopefully it’s just the beginning of a long career.

I’ve been shooting nationwide acts since 2008 starting with Kutless, and have moved onto the likes of Styx, 3 Doors Down, Motley Crue, and KISS! I’m the owner of Hybrid Studios and a nationally syndicated photographer for Retna. My images have appeared in the Minneapolis Star, Country Music Magazine, North Dakota State Fair, private companies and a host of music websites.
